Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Daniel Attias ("GameShorts", "we", "us"), the operator of GameShorts at https://getgameshorts.com. By creating an account or using GameShorts, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What GameShorts does

GameShorts turns a game's Steam store page or a video you upload into short vertical videos. It picks moments from the video, writes on-screen text and narration with the help of AI, and adds captions, an end card and a computer-generated narrator voice.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account or pay. If you use GameShorts for a studio or company, you confirm that you may accept these terms for it.

3. Your account

You sign in with an email link or with Google. Keep access to your email secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at hello@getgameshorts.com if you think someone else used it.

4. Your content and your rights

• You must have the rights. Only submit a Steam page or video for a game you made, publish, or are authorized to market. You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, all footage, music, sound, names and logos in what you submit, and to have it edited and posted as short videos.
• You keep ownership. You keep all rights to what you submit. You give us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive permission to store, copy and edit it only to make your videos, show them to you, and run the service.
• The videos are yours to use. As between you and us, you may use, post and monetize the videos GameShorts makes for you, including in ads, subject to the rights in your source material.
• Removal. We may remove content or close accounts that appear to break these terms or someone else's rights.

5. AI-generated text and voice

The headline, narration, meme line and post caption are written by an AI model, and the narrator is a synthetic voice. AI output can be wrong, repetitive or unsuitable. Review every video before you post it. You are responsible for what you publish, including following each platform's rules on labeling AI-generated or synthetic content and on advertising.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use GameShorts to: submit content you have no rights to; make content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, or that impersonates real people; mislead viewers about a product; attack, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service; or get around usage limits.

7. Plans, payment and cancellation

• The Free plan includes one game. Pro is a monthly subscription with a set number of games per month, shown on the pricing section. Unused games do not roll over.
• Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record and handles billing, tax and payment details. We never see your full card number.
• Pro renews every month until you cancel. Cancel any time from "Manage plan"; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
• Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
• We may change prices with at least 14 days' notice by email. The new price applies from your next renewal.

8. Storage

Videos and source files are deleted automatically about 48 hours after they are made. Download the videos you want to keep.

9. Copyright complaints

If you believe content processed through GameShorts infringes your rights, email hello@getgameshorts.com with the job link, the work you own, and your contact details. We will review it and remove infringing content.

10. Service availability

We work to keep GameShorts running, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any video will reach a particular number of views, wishlists or sales. We may change or stop features.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.

12. Your responsibility to us

If a third party makes a claim against us because of content you submitted or published, or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim, to the extent the law allows.

13. Ending your use

You can stop using GameShorts and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing hello@getgameshorts.com. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for important changes, tell account holders by email before they take effect. Continuing to use GameShorts after that means you accept the new terms.

15. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the courts in Tel Aviv have jurisdiction, except where the law of your country gives you, as a consumer, the right to bring a claim where you live.
